@DougCarlisle@Weather_West there is nothing that private sector excels at. It has a parasitic relationship with labor, productivity, and spells ruin for anyone and anything it touches. Hospitals are made worse. Planes are falling from the sky. Stores close. All while stock buybacks increase. It's a sham.
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia--the hospital to whom we owe our son's life--is 68 percent funded by Federal grants. In case anyone was wondering.

Folks be careful if you ever need to take a kid to @seattlechildren -- they dropped a piece of medical equipment on my baby's face during an MRI. We got lucky that he only got a little scratched but the quality of care is just horrific.
@d00mwake been trying to attend an FNM in the greater seattle area. Got three folks to show up a month ago--since then haven't been able to find anything but casual commander. Really been an absolute desert of events.
@genomancer while trends in labor law suggest something so broad might not be enforced--that doesn't change that you'd still probably need to prove that in court (which is annoying and expensive). I'd carefully weigh a decision to sign any kind of agreement like that.
@NobodyWorthy_ This is deeply problematic. The notion that bad actors acted badly to pursue an objective, therefore, arguing for that objective becomes tied to being a bad actor undermines the ability to even have the (important) conversation.
Celebrimbor's performance in the most recent episode of Rings of Power was excellent. The 'mouse scene' easily the best two minutes of the series.
A shame the rest of the show is steaming trash. Hope they decide to kill his character off soon so he can go to better projects.
@kenlikescarbs if you literally did nothing but announced: we are setting up the cEDH banlist--it's the same as the RC banlist was a week ago--I think you'd have close to the entire community behind you.
@kaibudde maybe--but we can't change WotC's printing--what we have control over is how the format is stewarded and if 3 consecutive days of historic backlash does not move the committee in charge of this community focused format... well... seems high time the community drop them.
this statement is where the CRC lost all credibility. Like... yeah we'll listen to feedback on the specific things we're willing to hear but 3 consecutive days of historic backlash won't change this decision. Pound sand #CRC you're not fit to lead w/ this attitude.
