Montreal police are facing one of the most serious misconduct scandals in recent memory.

Sixteen officers from Station 39 are under investigation, two have been suspended, and prosecutors are reviewing at least one file.

Sixteen!

Allegations include racial profiling, racist remarks, and officers allegedly keeping pieces of detainees’ locs as trophies.

They kept their fucking hair?

Credit to the officers who reported it, but the public deserves full transparency, accountability, and the release of findings once the investigation is complete.
