Thrilled to announce that I can officially call myself a registered dietitian (RD)! 🎉
I have completed my dietetic practicum and have obtained a temporary licence to practice as an RD in Ontario.
The rally comes as Canada’s only women’s university college announced last week that it will wind down its operations as an affiliated university college beginning in May 2024.

covid may be an airborne pathogen but it's a vascular disease that also attacks other organs and brain and i really wish public health messaging made that more clear instead of only focusing on initial respiratory symptoms
"But, you said getting vaxxed will stop me from getting #COVID19"⁉️😡
@CDCofBC data up to this week continues to show risk of:
Infection - 3.6X higher if unvaxx
Hospitalization - 31X higher if unvaxx
Admission to ICU - ~60x higher if unvaxx.
Keep an eye on this.

After consultation with health experts and campus leaders, and with the approval of Western’s Senate, we are delaying the start of the winter term to January 10, 2022. Most classes on main campus and at affiliates will be virtual until January 31, 2022.

Antivaxxers love to rattle on about how vaccinated people can also get sick & be hospitalized.
No one has ever denied that. #Sigh. But the difference between vaccinated and unvaccinated is ridiculously stark. Benefits of vaccination obvious.

Since June 30th, more than 92% of ALL #COVID19 cases in #LdnOnt-Middlesex involve people who were not fully vaccinated. That same segment makes up nearly 94% of all #COVID19-related hospitalizations. The evidence is clear, the choice is obvious. Get your shots, end this pandemic.
#COVID19 Update: All #WesternU, @kingsatwestern, @huronatwestern, @BresciaUC students, staff and faculty who plan to be on campus this fall will be required to demonstrate proof of vaccination. https://t.co/X60P7YXMgh
