When in doubt, rule type 1 diabetes out! Remember: type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease & it can be diagnosed at any age. As the rate of type 1 diabetes increases, we will see more children & adults in Diabetic Ketoacidosis(DKA) at the diagnosis of T1D. Awareness saves lives!
