The National Football League (NFL) has announced a multiyear agreement to bring at least three regular-season games over a period of five years to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, starting this year.

This expansion is part of the NFL's global growth strategy and its push to reach new audiences for its international games.

According to the NFL, with more than 36 million NFL fans across Brazil, the league will make its first regular-season appearance in Rio at the iconic Maracanã Stadium.

Following a record-setting WrestleMania 41 held earlier this year at Allegiant Stadium, WrestleMania will return to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.

Individual event tickets for WrestleMania 42 will go on sale this Black Friday. The two-night event will take place on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup will return to Germany in September 2026, marking the country’s first time hosting the event since 1998.

Berlin will stage the tournament from 4 to 13 September, bringing together many of the strongest national teams in international basketball.
