In Anderson’s first 15 pro starts:
1.27ERA, 77.2IP, 40H, 10BB, 115K.
Seven in a hundred. That is roughly how many high school players go on to college baseball at any level, and most of that seven is not Division I. I share the number because the families who define winning correctly are the ones who end up happy. If college baseball at any level, with a degree that sets up his life, counts as success in your house , say it out loud at dinner this week. Your son's odds improve the day the target gets honest.
I recently saw a study that said 80% of high school baseball players end up playing college baseball within 3-4 hours of home. If this is accurate, makes you wonder if all the cross-country travel is really necessary? Thoughts?
Excited to announce my first ever youth baseball camp on August 7th!!
