Saw an osprey dive and catch a trout so big it could barely get it out of the water yesterday. Highlight of an awesome bird day where we saw an American white pelican, a sandhill crane, a blue heron, bank swallows, 8 bald eagles, and some other species I couldn’t place.
Crazy how Gandalf runs around saving absolute bacon and every time he shows up the next group is all, “Oh great it’s the meddlesome old self-serving idiot.”
The secret to winning is learning how to lose. That is, learning to bounce back from failure and disappointment—undeterred—and continuing to steadily march toward your potential. Your response to failure determines your capacity for success.
@chuckh3 I’ve heard this said a few times actually and, if accurate, this is a gap in the statistics imo. He had good hands, not 1% drop hands. Several of his contested drops he should have hauled in.
@ChippyMontana@Kyle_Odegard My good Chip, with a better distribution of the ball this list solves itself. MHJ needs a ton more targets. He and Trey should take the majority, then Wilson. Sprinkle in some Dortchtricity and RB catches and it’s set. More MHJ crossing routes should be a high priority.
“His cigarette is burning but he never seems to ash,” is such a great lyric bc who is this man and why is there a little middle eastern jingle playing behind it? Cake is an all time great band hidden in plain sight.
