Such a great event tonight on social and criminal justice reform. I watched in honor of my longtime friend, who has been incarcerated for 25 years. Thank you all for your incredible focus on this critical issue. @VanJones68@JessicaJackson@LouislReed@DreamJustice#DayOfEmpathy
When is slavery acceptable? NEVER.
I know you agree @congbillposey @SenRickScott@marcorubio. Support the Abolition Amendment, HJR 72/SJR 33, to #EndTheException in the 13th Amendment and abolish slavery, for all.
No slavery. No Exceptions. https://t.co/7X5aJPUAjM
What a beautiful story. Thanks @MooreMaya for sharing you and Jonathan’s incredible “rising” in love and for highlighting the need for criminal justice reform in America. #winwithjustice#loveandjustice
Fantastic night mentoring our local youth at Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center. Lots of meaningful conversations and even some charades! Rocked my @earhustlesq shirt too 🤍 @cometojailwme#mentorship#theverbkind
I think when most people hear that a person was sentenced to 15, 20, 30 years or even life, they assume the person deserved it and that society would be endangered if the person was released early. In the vast majority of cases, that's just not true.
If you have considered buying a Nespresso machine, do it now. Not only a great product but amazing customer service as well.. (thanks Suzy!) And they recycle!! ☕️🤍 @NespressoUSA
Ross is serving a life sentence in the feds. But Florida has the most humans w/life sentences in the USA. Too many men&women sentenced to die in prison. Especially for crimes that didn’t result in anyones death. We need a release mechanism for those who’ve proven they deserve it!
