At the international dinner on Friday, what started out as our Nigerian friend showing us some dance moves, turned into an hour long dance party. I was overwhelmed when seeing this because this is what heaven is going to be like.

About 640 Afghan refugees were on the aircraft. Instead of forcing them off, the crew felt compassion and made the decision to go.

The lineage of Jesus. A story + history of how God uses broken people to bring forth his promise of a messiah. Our God is a God of redemption. No one is “too far gone” to be called and used by God. He takes what is broken and makes it new. It’s good news.

2. He uses women and sees their value
3. He invites people in to be apart of what he is doing through their support.

“Standing with Israel” in the Bible means standing with the Jewish people (who are now all over the globe), since they have often been persecuted as a people.

What it does not mean is standing with the modern day state of Israel. That’s politics. Not Scripture.
