For something so “parasitic” the female body sure does a lot to keep that unborn baby alive and safe.
@happycleo17@ksorbs This is not in fact the reason why women get sick during the first few weeks of pregnancy. During this time, the fetuses immune system is extremely fragile therefore it is thought that this sickness experienced by the mother is a secondary mechanism designed to protect the baby.
Going on 2 years of marriage, pursuing a professional career, and possibly post doc education.
I know what it’s like to want to avoid pregnancy, and so far our attempts to do so have been 100% effective.
There have always been options other than abortion.
Reflecting back on this first week of my doctorate program and I’m simply in awe of the amount of fun I had learning about what excites me…I doubt this high will last, but I’ll enjoy it while I can.

There can always be outliers so they include those chances in their percentages. However, I can tell you my nexplanon has been 100% effective for the last 2 yrs
If unborn babies aren’t “humans” then why did the front desk lady at the health department just now state that a pregnant woman would make 6 individuals in the household instead of only 5?
@saintsnsociety Hi, so I get where you’re coming from, but doesn’t this assume that men (as a whole) can’t be trusted on social media period? I’m sorry, but I have more faith in people than that.
Perhaps a better take would be to be more choosy with who you follow/allow to follow you?
