@Imagelesclown7 @piersmorgan @benstokes38 He did break it - the curfew was in place, this has been confirmed by ECB. As captain, he was part of the group who put it in place. For him then to break it first game back after the horror show of ashes is ridiculous and incompetent.

@piersmorgan @benstokes38 You continue to miss the point on this Piers. Stokes was one of the leadership group who imposed the curfew. To then break it in the first test match of the summer, AS CAPTAIN, is ridiculous. Any leader, in any role, would be punished for this. In most cases, they would be gone.

@piersmorgan @benstokes38 You’re missing the point, Piers. The issue isn’t the incident involving the Saracens player; it’s that Stokes was out after curfew. A curfew, that he himself set with Rob Key and Brendon McCullum.

In any world a leaders role is untenable for this breakdown in trust.
