We have wondered for a while if there was active beaver activity at @haley__McLean's AMD research site. Sure enough last week we found two huge (>40 ft) trees a beaver had been industriously chewing. We are excited to go back and see what the beaver does with them!

Went scouting sites for @haley__mclean's research project yesterday. Found some acid mine drainage...

This old mine has a bat gate to allow bats in/out but not people. And it's also letting out a whole lot of iron - you could actually see the thalweg carved into the stream.
