I recently heard a woman, when talking about her small group at church, use the word “single” like it was a dirty word.

“We have two…(lowers voice) single…women in our group.”

So, here’s a reminder that single people are a gift to your church, not a threat.

I want to have spent my time in company with Jesus more than anyone else when I get to the end of my life. It can be really difficult to make that time but I believe it’ll be worth it. That’s how we become true reflections of Jesus- being in his company more than anything else.
