@jordananimate@ItchyTasty_ PART 4: And lastly more than ever its clear to me that the concept artist that will last are the ones that tell a story through an image. A simple rim lit creature with a radial blur isn't going to cut it anymore. You have to tell a story in the art. AI cannot do this.
@jordananimate@ItchyTasty_ PART 3: I am not in the "AI looks terrible" camp, honestly i think this is dillusional, and a bunch of artists lying to themselves. If it was so bad, we wouldn't be so threatened. My point is, it isn't going away, train your skills, your eye, and use AI as a tool.
@jordananimate@ItchyTasty_ PART 2: This caught me by surprise, but they explained that every design had been created using MidJourney. The creatures they showed were fucking terrible. Just horrible. Even with the ability to do countless designs for free, they didnt have the eye to make anything good.
@jordananimate@ItchyTasty_ PART 1: I disagree. A few months ago, I met with a production company developing a feature film filled with creatures and monsters. When I spoke with the producer, they mentioned that all the creature designs were already completed.
