@BohunkPundit@HollyGrayle Anyone who hasn't integrated isn't really British, they just have a passport.
But that does that equal the vast majority? How does one measure that at scale?
My point is that if you want to use a country as an example of a mono-ethnic society India isn't a good one.
From the point of view of non-Indians, "Indian" as an ethnicity has come to mean to mean the brown-skinned individual due to that being the most prominent.
Yet, even putting aside the outliers, if we just take people from the North-eastern part of India there is significant variation from the typical brown-skinned south-asian aesthetic. And these people number in the tens of millions, i.e. significant enough in number that they cannot simply be disregarded as outliers. They are as inherently Indian as anyone else.
@GODFOE_UNIVERSE Yes, she's attempting to get agreement from the audience in an effort to overwhelm him with opposition by making it seem like he alone thinks that but we all think this so we're right and he's wrong. It's a strength in numbers game.
It's disgusting to watch.
Interesting that you say:
"ESPECIALLY not those who retained their culture, strong in-group preferences, and established White enclaves"
Because you're implying, then, that someone who didn't do that and actually did assimilate would be welcomed and seen as Indian. Which leads to my example of Jamie Alter.
Yes, if millions of white people moved to India in a short space of time that wouldn't work out like that. The same is true for millions of Indians moving to Britain in a short space of time.
But if thousands of white people moved to India, and then over several generations they integrated and assimilated, would they not become Indian? And wouldn't the reverse be true for Britain, as it is today?
Indians see him as an Indian. He even has a video where he explains why he's an Indian in his heart. Furthermore, his father was also born and raised in India and was awarded one of the highest civilian honours by the Govt of India - he was very much loved by Indians.
No doubt he is rare for India (Sonia Gandhi is another example, even though she is a naturalised Indian) but my point stands - which is that you can be Indian despite being of a different ethnicity.
White Britons are set to become a minority by 2063.
This means if there is going to be a civil war in the UK between White Britons and Muslims it will almost definitely happen before then.
In fact, most likely long before then because just the very fact that such a date even exists is going to be alarming to many people.
Those who call themselves "journalists" are merely cosplaying the role.
Hence why journalistic standards (which should be classed as an oxymoron) are eternally so low.
I owe Nigel Farage an apology.
During last night’s Newsnight we covered the murder of Henry Nowak and the political reaction to the case, including discussing Nigel Farage’s comments about “pure, cold rage”.
However I referred to “white cold rage”. This was a mistake on my part, a misremembering of the quote. It didn’t change the content of the interview but I should have got the quote right. I apologise to Nigel Farage for this.
Mass immigration is changing our country in ways that none of us consented to - in fact, we voted against it over and over and over.
A large number of this population explosion will not integrate, will not speak the language, will not contribute.
Let's be honest here - they will be a drain on Britain.
Population enclaves will grow further, with new ones forming - often focusing around cultures that do not share the same values as us, particularly on women.
These are already all over the UK, and growing.
British people have seen their communities completely transform in a matter of years. Thriving neighbourhoods, turned into a scene from a foreign country, to be honest.
We are allowed to be upset about this. And it is certainly not racist to voice concerns around this rapid change.
People don't speak English, they live by their own laws and show zero respect for the country that welcomed them. Why are there 85 sharia courts operating in our country? I say ban every single one.
Migrants who arrive should change their way of life to fit around us, not the other way round. They must integrate. That responsibility is on them, not us.
Illegal migrants need to be deported. Legal immigration needs to be brutally slashed. But we also need to move away from this idea that if you arrived legally, you can stay forever.
Fundamental reform is required, particularly on indefinite leave to remain.
If a foreign national doesn't work, doesn't contribute, doesn't speak English, doesn't live by our laws, doesn't even like us - why are they here? Why are they allowed to stay? What are benefit are they providing to the British people?
No English, no visa. No work, no visa.
If a foreign national is unable to support themselves and their family financially? They should leave. It is not our responsibility to fund housing, benefits and healthcare.
Sorry, it's just not.
Our immigration system has to work for the British, that is the ONLY thing that matters.
We need to start a proper, honest conversation about this because the current path is unsustainable - it simply cannot go on.
@nowtrendwatch@visegrad24 The failure of the state to treat people on equal terms and ensure a meritocracy is ultimately what leads to this - people have lost faith in the system.
