Idealism is often perceived to be strange philosophy, yet it offers many insights into the world God has created. I recently published an article on the idealism of George Berkeley, check it out here, https://t.co/dTkeyUJjF7
Many Christians view the LGBTQ community as enemies, but Jesus calls us to do good even to those who hate us. So, Christian, put down the world’s weapons and pick up the Gospel. https://t.co/Mi8ju2DIHj
I was recently asked by an unbelieving friend what it felt like to be loved by God or to experience him. This is a fair question: Is there a feeling that accompanies a relationship with God through Jesus?

The latest episode of the Working Theology Podcast is up, looking at God as our sovereign saviour in Deuteronomy 30 (also on Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music). https://t.co/8omDJiYqdS
Some Christians equate the contemporary state of Israel with the Biblical Israel. For many, their hopes for the return of Jesus are anchored on this identification. In this article, I give 8 reasons why the State of Israel is not the Israel of the Bible. https://t.co/e6kSCfqS6d
The latest episode of the Working Theology Podcast is up on Spotify. This episode begins a series on the Bible by looking at the way God has given us the Bible and the connection of its parts. https://t.co/H8QTghVNhR
2 Timothy 3:12-13 (NET) those who deceive are often themselves deceived by sin, Satan, and the world. This does not absolve them of sin, but it points to the remedy. Like us all, deceivers need the truth, and the truth is found in the Scriptures (3:15-17). #Bible#Christianity
@JoeInfluencer Dear brother, I agree that Christians love truth. However, if you read the article, you will see that I am arguing that pronouns are not about what we are (a statement about ontology) but about what we think (interpretation). I base this on the nature of all language.
The question of "pronoun hospitality" has been a hot topic among Christians. I want to argue that the nature of language and the status of Christians as exiles in this world give some support to the idea of "pronoun hospitality."

1 Tim 4:13. Brothers and sisters, are our words more important than God's words? Why, then, are we content to read some of the Bible in church and let the focus be on our sermons? Teach and exhort, yes, but devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture--all of it. #Bible
Jesus calls us to love our neighbours, even our enemies. That is tough sometimes, isn't it? Yet, Jesus calls us to love as we have been loved. Many Christians perceive Muslims to be their enemies, yet Jesus's command remains the same. #jesusheals https://t.co/rGDt200XZf
In the latest episode of the Working Theology Podcast, we look at the need to shape church gatherings around listening rather than reading. In the first part, we will consider how to shape worship services that do this. https://t.co/rsm7Tf6Rzu
My latest academic article has been published in JETS 68.1. "Reframing the Problem of the Incarnation" argues that the problems people find in the doctrine of the incarnation don't come from the Bible but philosophical frameworks we bring to the Bible. https://t.co/Ez6YPCvN2P
The latest episode of the Working Theology Podcast is now available on Spotify. In this episode, I explore the revelation of God's name in Exodus 3. https://t.co/f2TsbB0ppm
With the help of some good friends, we have released the Working Theology Podcast. This podcast aims to produce resources that will help readers and non-readers alike engage with God's word and grow in their abilities to minister the saving Gospel of God. https://t.co/1qyhDci5yb
We know Christ has all authority in heaven and earth. He will accomplish all his purposes. However, our Lord's path to victory is not winning in any sense the World recognises. The Cross is the model of Christian victory.

When we look at God's preservation of the Bible, it appears really messy. Yet we have abundant evidence that the Bible we have is reliable. In contrast with the Quran, we see that this "messiness" is actually evidence of God's great wisdom. https://t.co/6SpRUZr703
Christianity has often been called one of three great or Abrahamic monotheistic religions. Yet, is "monotheism" really a helpful term to describe the Christian God, especially if it connects Christian beliefs about God with Islamic and Talmudic beliefs? https://t.co/C65myOkGou
