My husband taught me more of how to be a woman (more than my own mother taught me) + regularly says I shaped him into who he is. In transformational relationship dynamics this is entirely normal!
You disrespect yourself when you rekindle a relationship that humiliated you. Forgiveness is one thing but you have to have boundaries. You can’t always be nice. That’s how people take advantage of you. You teach people how to treat you by deciding what you will and won’t accept.
One day, I’m going to do a full blown discussion on why you should grow with your friends. Your friends that show great potential are actual stars, grow with each other and nurture each other.
