@Just01Patriot56@tmobilenews@TMobile It started around 3:45 yesterday afternoon&is still continuing4many users despite the premature "its all fixed guys" PR post last night. That being said...it wasn't ALL users impacted&it was as confusing as- I was slightly impacted but my husband sitting next2me was off all day.
@JD2545@TMobile He predicts not till tomorrow. Since they seem to have been hacked (or it would have been fixed by now) they are going to have to build copy servers, put them into place, and move all of the traffic onto them.
@TMobile Hey @tmobile... from a customer service perspective you should have had a redundant system which switched all the traffic off the affected server until you figured out the problem. But at this point what you are showing us is you have been hacked...
@TMobile Apparently it's a nationwide subscriber authentication impairment. A back end database problem where the system is failing to verify customers' credentials, which prevents cell phones from logging into the cellular network. FYI my telecom manager husband said this HOURS ago .
@Ethantwist2@TMobile Mint Mobile experienced a widespread service disruption as well...driven by a massive nationwide outage affecting the T-Mobile network infrastructure, leaving thousands of users with "SOS mode" or no service.
@tolivistodi@TMobile Ever increasing bills? Yes. Common
Shitty customer service? Yes. In store and on the phone. Up sell you a "free line" on promotion and it will lower your bill NEVER lowers your bill. Free tablet with a free line and it will lower your bill? Lies.
Outage like this? Not usual.
Saddened to hear Dame Maggie Smith has passed. I had the unforgettable experience of working with her; sharing a two-shot was like being paired with a lion. She could eat anyone alive, and often did. But funny, and great company. And suffered no fools. We will never see another. God speed, Ms. Smith!
