I’m not sure I’ll stick with Mastodon, but my time here, at least, is done. I am keeping the account active to hold my username but will no longer visit to read or post.
No one will miss me, of course, but I’ll miss the folks I kept in touch with here.
I popped back over here for a bit because some of the folks I really like keeping up with have gone dark on Mastodon and ... what the heck!? Timeline full of people I don't follow, mentions broken, missing tweets. What a mess.
I’ve deleted my Twitter account a half dozen times going back to it’s early days. As much as I’ve struggled with being here, I’d finally settled in. This was my longest go by far. I’ll miss it terribly.
Here’s hoping things are different someday.

I have a bunch of leftover BBQ ribs that have been reheated one time too many, so I am thinking of making Boston-style baked beans but with that instead of salt pork and a heck of a lot more meat. Here's hoping it turns out well.
I assume there isn't anyone around to make such changes, but it sure seems like there are more blue checkmarks followed by people I follow in my timeline. If I wanted to see them, I'd have followed them. ☹️
Turns out I still hate mocks, mocking frameworks, and generated mocks with all my soul.
I am missing hand-crafted fakes and state assertions in this codebase.
Checking which retweets are real and which are not is already becoming very tiresome. I suspect I’m not long for here. I can’t see doing Mastodon, though, so I suspect I’ll just miss out in keeping up with folks. 😢
@bradwilson@JetBrainsRider@xunit Ah, gotcha. Well, I am happy to help debug things as you need it. As long as I have used https://t.co/nJZo7wB5Rm I feel bad I've not given back.
