@siracusa Occurs to me that the various “Hello. We’ve been here already… let me shock you into accepting my premise so we can progress” conversations in LDR:EoT are exactly how I play half my calls to tier one tech support. :)
Everybody needs to listen to this story. Don’t just read it - listen to the anguish and the insanity of it all.

@npr A week ago today when I mentioned the odd repeating Regional Roundup piece on heart disease on your News & Culture stream it was amusing. Now it’s feeling more like a hostage situation or a cry for help. You guys ok over there? It keeps playing as an insert between segments.
@NPR I think your “News & Culture” stream has issues this weekend. The same heart disease story from one of the shows keeps playing as the content between segments, often cutting off and repeating within seconds. It’s like this piece is being used in place of the proper bumpers.
@misfitsmarket Once again, I beg of you: please put the tracking number for the current shipment in the email saying it has shipped. It would be SO much more convenient than the clickfest that often follows.
@holgr Heh. I gave up the saltwater fish tank hobby years ago… partly because any issue you faced was non-stop contradictions advice-wise. Smoked meats I’ve continued with in fits and starts (and again of late) and it can make you nuts.
In my life online, I have found two key interests where you can find advice that will be entirely contradictory from one source to the next and all of them swearing their method is the only right one: keeping saltwater fish tanks and smoking meats/making bbq of any kind.
If any scientists in Va notice a steep decline in the insect population, I suspect they are all splattered on the smooth nose of my Model 3. Not sure I can pull out of the driveway without a fresh coating of them. My apologies to nature.
@junecloud While I’ve had 9.3.2 for some days now, I’m seeing all of my FedEx entries as unable to connect again… or still? Not sure. Did FedEx throw a fresh wrench into things for you since the last update by chance?
Probably doesn’t help that I usually force myself to stick strictly to the clues and work only with what is known to be remaining. That can lead to some pretty desperate and obscure stuff on the road to the facepalm.
I think my most common reaction to solving Wordle is a facepalm. It comes after I’ve played some obscure and archaic word ahead of the actual solution that is, in fact, likely in the vocabulary of your average three year old. I’ve learned a lot about my own brain with this game.
@misfitsmarket Feature request: any chance you might be able to start including out tracking numbers outright in the shipping emails alongside the existing track buttons? Love to put it in my tracking app without so many clicks to find it.
