@BigN1015@TalkinYanks Obviously I'll cheer when he has a great game like today. But for Volpe's sake and his long term development and career in baseball, the Yankees would be doing him a huge favor by sending him to the minors for a few months to work on his swing and learn some new positions.
@BigN1015@TalkinYanks The Yankees have a horrible track record with Volpe though, so I understand where that fear is coming from. We've seen this movie hundreds of times already and the Yankees still seem to think this time might end differently.
@Prettyflackoo28@TalkinYanks Jazz has better numbers vs. lefties this year. I think we're on the same side though. Volpe should certainly not be starting. If Jazz is on the bench because of the ABS, I don't hate it. If he's on the bench just for the lefty, it's a bad move
@TalkinYanks@BryanHoch Get a real catcher and let Wells be the backup. Some competition would be good for Wells, and he wasn't getting that at all with Escarra.
@TalkinYanks It was a nice story when he made the team... but the guy has done nothing at the professional level. Like... he's not even a minor league catcher.
