the reason why Carrick got us into third place was that the standard was laid upon amorim foundation. Now that we got into the new season, the owner not backing up the gaffer again and the results are bad. i dont see that intensity from the players too. game vs city shows that.

tbf under amorim, we have better intention and intensity going into games. well theres that grimsby game but it was on the players too. we did have that standard of physicality and intensity to compete in the league. thats the reason we could snatch third in the end (2/3)

Ruben Amorim NEVER took us to 15th.

Amorim was hired after Erik ten Hag was sacked. United were already sitting 14th with a dysfunctional squad.

He didn’t take us into the relegation zone. He found us there.

And by the time Amorim was sacked, he had taken us back up to 6th.

Now look at Carrick.

Carrick inherited United in 6th. Right now, he has us back in 14th after playing two newly promoted sides, a struggling Everton and a 10-man Manchester City.

And yes, I’ll acknowledge what Carrick has done right. He got us into the Champions League. But he has also taken us right back into a relegation battle.

So when you tell me “Amorim took United to 15th”, what exactly are we doing here?

You are not going to lie to us and rewrite history just to protect your current manager.

The facts are public. The table is public. The results are public.
