"I work and have become friends with Yehor Kosenko at a foodservice equipment dealer in Halifax, NS. Yehor and his wife, Alyona, moved here from Ukraine in 2022 and married in 2023. They're beautiful young people who exude kindness and positivity.

In the very early morning of May 13, 2024 Yehor and Alyona were forced to escape the house they were renting in due to an all-consuming fire. They lost everything, including their documents and passports. They have each other but no other family in the country.

With this campaign I hope to show Yehor and Alyona they're not alone. A little love from a lot of people is all they need."
