It's insane to me how good of a character messmer is man he's everything i could've ever wanted and feel fucking insane over it... I'm so glad I have his helm and statue now more than ever

Overall..... the dlc was incredible...... i will say the end boss left me wanting as base game was 100% alluding to godwyn and that's not even me being biased 😭 it would've been the perfect ending to it all for me personally

@madvalgo It both mirrors the embrace that is so heavily mentioned in game but his hair, the circlet, and even the sleeves all match!!!! Which makes me insane

Alternatively w this statue, it looks a lot like miquellas end form and perhaps this statue was miquellas promise. That he would become an adult and a god and embrace them and all alike, to reach salvation and gentler world

@hanjirachi Yes but miquella was on a journey to do the impossible and succeed in his failures, like curing the rot etc and he also went to a land all about death, with so many hints even in the dlc that pointed towards him, I feel like he's being saved for something else 😔

Thinking abt this again and the idea of it being messmer in the statue.... the fact that they so clearly drill into our heads that it is the "embrace" of messmers flame... how miquella embraces this and how in the end it says he met the one who did not want the embrace...

Cries self to sleep over dlc but mostly how tragic it was.... how pained and desperate miquella sounded..... how lonely and betrayed messmer was....

Of the dlc ost I think st trina, dancing lion, shaman village, and messmers theme are my favs

I think a lot of the negativity circling the dlc is coming from new people who for some fuckass reason thought it was gonna be a victory lap or played it cause popular like no if you know the game you know it was meant to be a fight for our lives

I hated fighting a lot of bosses in base game but almost every single one in the dlc was fun to me (rare) the hippo and gaius were the only 2 that made me feel some anger but I was still having fun aka what's important

THE SCENERY THE MUSIC THE BOSSES (minus gaius) were all INCREDIBLE. The LORE???? fuck dude it was damn near perfect w the amount of things we got to see and the shaman village was PEAK it was PERFECT it was one of the best moments to experience in a game ever
