DILLONS DIRTY BURNING ROAD DIARIES “THE DRIFTER” — EPISODE 4:
“Happily Married”
I learned young how to drive fast wild, hungry, like something was always chasing me. Out here, @2daddiesdickin1 the western roads used to stretch open and empty, like freedom had no edges.
Now they’re crowded. Tight. Constricted. Just like everything else that once felt infinite. That’s the thing about life it doesn’t ask permission to change. It just does. I had a blast today filming my fourth of eight episodes of “THE DRIFTER”A married couple i’ve grown to love and appreciate. Hot talented, extremely sexy, funny and wise.
Marriage… they call it a dance. But no one talks about the bruises on your feet. A real marriage isn’t graceful. It’s missed steps, heavy breathing, silent tension between movements. It’s learning someone’s rhythm while trying not to lose your own. Sometimes you lead. Sometimes you follow. And sometimes… you both pull in opposite directions until something tears.
Then comes the repair. The quiet apologies. The unspoken agreements. The slow return to music that never quite sounds the same again. That’s the part no one prepares you for the growing apart… so you can find a way to come back together. And not everyone knows how to read the cues. Hell, most people don’t even hear the music anymore. The lines have blurred.
Truth feels distorted. Connection feels manufactured.
Why?
Because it’s easier to control people when they’re exhausted.
When they’re fighting just to survive, they don’t question the cage. Some call it a prison planet.
Maybe that’s not poetry maybe it’s memory. Maybe we’re here to learn what we refused to understand before. Or maybe…
we’re just burning through it.
Marriage, love, connection they’re not soft things. They’re fire. And fire doesn’t ask if you’re ready. It consumes. It transforms. It reveals what’s real… and what was never built to last. So how do we dance when the love itself is burning? Maybe the answer isn’t in control. Maybe it’s in surrender.
Or maybe… like the question echoed by midnight Oil and driven by Rob Horst- How do we keep pretending everything is fine… when something deeper is already on fire beneath our feet? Not all dances are meant to be beautiful. Some are meant to wake you up. No hurry to finish this adventure however, episode 5 will be filmed this coming Tuesday. Hang tight we’re all in for a wild ride. ❤️❤️❤️Subscribe:

Setiap pulang kampung pasti diajak ke ladang sama bapak mertua, bukan buat ngecek kebon yang ditanam tapi ngecek kebonnya sibapak yang udah lama ga pejuin. Pas lagi disepong bapak tiba-tiba keinget anaknya "Dewi, bapakmu lebih jago ngokop kontol abang"
