been thinking about a project around ai ugc videos: real prompts + real outputs.

there are tons of ai ads everywhere but almost nobody shares the prompt behind them.

people use platform like higgsfield, spend forever tweaking prompts and still can't get the result they want.

my goal right now is definitely not revenue. i just want travelers to actually use the app.

all this started from one user asking to mark places in a trip. somehow i ended up building a whole system around it. insane.

been sitting at my desk for like 10 hours improving the current system and adding a new feature to analyze tiktok and instagram videos and turn them into places in the app. almost done.

still at the beginning. i believe in my app, so i'll keep building and keep pushing ugc.

i'm planning to bring nearby travelers and events into a single map, but i need to see how it feels first. clustering is the part i'm still unsure about.

also thinking of replacing nearby travelers with places pins instead 👀

a traveler suggested marking visited places, so i am adding "my places" to keep spots from the trips and events, fav and find them again.

my girl asks, “are you gonna build something new every week? are other apps like this too?” if only she knew something new comes up every single day. unfortunately, it feels endless.

i don't know if it's just me but it feels like the build number might also affect the review time not just the version.

a few versions ago, i submitted the first build directly for review and waited about a week. in the following versions i submitted build 2 or 3 instead. my last two reviews were approved within 24 hours.

First of all, congratulations! I hope you get the results you’re aiming for.

For the map pins, I'd definitely recommend using clusters. As shown in the screen recording, there are too many pins. You can group nearby pins together, highlight the one closest to the map's focal point, and show the rest with a +N counter.

i think it turned out quite nice and clear
