@cst_wtchr@Articwolfman2@melaniejoly@HonAhmedHussen For those who live in Khartoum, it was peaceful until about 10 days ago. There was no reason to leave and most Canadians living there had work contracts and other obligations to fulfill.
@RandaRudwan@melaniejoly It's really disappointing. I always thought that the embassy was there to protect Canadian citizens and support them. But in a time of crisis, they are the first to leave.
@melaniejoly France, Greece, Netherlands and Italy are working hard to evacuate all of their citizens from Sudan, not only their embassy staff. Please show leadership by evacuating all Canadians who are still in Sudan. If you desert them, you may have their blood on your hands.
@OSOAlearning This was a wonderful challenge for my students, and some of them could really relate to this when thinking about their own families and friends. Thank you!
After @Mathgarden shared this post on what has been happening to me lately https://t.co/BCQS1b3Foa people have been asking how they can help. If you would like to support me can you share (or reshare) any supportive words on this hashtag? #ProtectprofBoaler Thank you β€οΈ
@flyethiopian Ethiopian Airlines encourages customers to use their website to book tickets, but in my recent experience, their site doesn't work properly. The airline also doesn't respond promptly to emails or answer their customer service phone line. It's very frustrating!
@AngelM16_@flyethiopian I have had the same experience. The Customer Service number only puts you on hold for 5 minutes and then disconnects you. I don't think it is possible to reach a real person. The airline encourages you to do everything online, but then the website isn't functional. Disappointing!
