@Fulcrumtano66@maditano You can also tell that it’s fan made simply because it says “All episodes now streaming” because all the episodes, in fact, were not all streaming because they weren’t even released yet
@Fulcrumtano66@maditano You’re not getting my point. There is not an official Lucasfilm or Star Wars account that posted that, which means that yes, it is fan made. They wouldn’t have spoiled that big of a reveal. Just because Vader eventually showed up doesn’t mean it wasn’t fan made lol
@ogplayah@shardazed@TheRoyalSerf Is this supposed to convince me that violence will solve this? Yikes maybe this thinking is why men are the majority of domestic abusers… Can’t control their tantrums.
@Fulcrumtano66@maditano It hasn’t been confirmed by the literal studio making the project which means it is NOT confirmed like you said it was. Use your brain 🤓
@MerakiDelta@Nunya83731781@danversio I hate this take. Vader isn’t an alter ego. He’s the same guy that had been showing signs of the Dark Side long before he was Vader. Your take is literally the same as saying Count Dooku isn’t Darth Tyranus
@_SoDamnFlossy_@_FromTheIsland He WAS asking for over the top. He assumed “herself” was an over-the-top housewife, instead of believing that maybe people can be different in different scenarios.
@NickShortz@MISTYFALLS1991@SlumRNA_Dog Yes let’s subside any and all actual studies explicitly proving the opposite of this & let’s listen to Nick, the Dog Whisperer, who knows how dogs think and feel.
@moraimessenger Question for you! I’ve heard some say her eyes turned Sith and have heard other say her eyes were just reflecting the red off the saber. What do you say about this? Was this symbolism in terms of: Did they turn Sith to represent Ahsoka being lost and fearful?
I'm not sure that this episode was 100% successful in what it was trying to do, BUT if Ahsoka's fear and guilt driving her isn't apparent throughout this season....I do have to question whether you paid attention or genuinely sat to watch this in good faith.
Fear is death. Guilt is death. Giving up is death.
The fault of the writing here is that it, perhaps unintentionally, sets up Anakin's "Live or Die" *as* the lesson, when actually it's the choice for Ahsoka to make at the *end* of the lesson. That being said, it's important to note that Anakin never calls this ordeal a lesson. Ahsoka does, or at least assumes it will be.
The lesson, or the final trial, is the sequence of visions Anakin takes Ahsoka through. "You lack conviction". Ahsoka won't just believe in something, she won't just commit, she won't let herself be grounded, won't stay in one place, one mindset. Save Ezra, leave Ezra. She is lost.
Anakin *has* to pose this simple "Live or Die" to her because he's, essentially, making her choose. And that she does.
"I choose to live."
"There's hope for you yet."
