This is actually so heartbreaking and kinda traumatizing like the pain of being not seen and not known by your own parents as a kid is actually such a strange unique kind of pain and kind of incomprehensible for your brain at that age

I don’t know enough about this but it sounds to me that it shows that domestication can happen if humans want to do it, not that it’s a choice of the wild animal as stated with raccoons?

@daniel_passmore @farbenfuchs @AMAZlNGNATURE She’s a raccoon biologist, and explained that this study is based ln another flawed study that said a certain type of fox was being domesticated but they were mostly inbred and from a fur farm (not wild). And this flawed study is the only one in existance that “proves” this point
