@milkovichest Mexico have never played elite teams at the azteca in competitive matches. Mostly concacaf qualifiers. They got a draw with Portugal in Azteca a few yrs back. Only game against a top team I could find
@honestm4tty Its in our national DNA, look outside of sports. When someone you know achieves something important, we point out the negatives, we take the piss out of those who are successful to the point where its better to just keep your head down as if nothing happened
@bets_single Scotland did get a tough group compared to some of the others. But they still played shite. There was no ambition, no energy. The best part of scotlands world cup was watching their fans having a great time
@JeffStelling Don't care if they are worried or not, the main point is that we have to turn up if and when we play them. 1st job, win the group. Wasn't pretty but job done. On to the next round
@SaorAlbannach The SFA need to look at what other European nations are doing with regard to youth development and copy it. You are a proud country with great football history but have a 'its the taking part that counts' attitude
@Fitzy__07 Majority of england fans just see it as banter. The Scots and English give as good as they get to each other. The only people moaning are those that either dont get the humour or are weak and pathetic and cant take a joke. Unfortunately this type of person is amplified on X
@TridgeTV Argentina had the easiest group in world cup history. Brazils only test was against Morroco and they looked poor for large periods. It wouldnt surprise me if Japan defeat Brazil. I expect ๐ฆ๐ท to reach Semis without really going past 3rd gear
@JohnnyDundee The Scottish FA needs to invest in football at all levels. With a bigger population than countries like Croatia, why are they not producing player at the same level as Croatia?
@MikeMartignago You are right, USA could host every world cup. But so could several other countries without having to build any more stadiums. England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy etc....what europe has is stadiums located in cities that are walkable with affordable transport links
@liamthomson_97 My wife in from ๐ง๐ท. When Vini scored from the mistake, she said....well that happened because in Brazil, men don't wear skirts ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@Dan1763@SaorAlbannach No, but with the proper investment and coaching at junior levels, the probability of qualifying and making it into the knockouts will dramatically increase
@SaorAlbannach Agree. Croatia and Uruguay both have smaller populations. Its all about investing in grassroots and developing a national footballing ethos that everyone buys into.
