@CaptSpringbok Turnaround is a lot logistically. No issue with initial playoff format. But from a humble nobody opinion, pick a final venue at the start of the season. Maybe a developing market? USA, South America or wherever to promote the game. Good luck in the final.

@chrisjonespress @Champrugby Feels like RFU rebranding championship to become the new prem, televised, salary caps, promoting and protecting young English talent. Letting current top English clubs to evolve to franchises and green light no salary cap to compete with France and Leinster. Oh and ring fencing.

@SaulOvah @daroke @RuaidhriOC No argument there. Just highlighting English clubs cannot under current system retain and pay their best players produced (or want to poach). But if they bin the salary cap, richer English clubs will have freedom to recruit and retain. But doing so will kill a fe of their clubs.

@daroke @RuaidhriOC brings up the debate of should England and prem bin the salary cap and the dream of a sustainable and competitive league. Looking at the Irish system you’d say yes. Outside looking in it clearly works competitively and appears profitable unless there is something we don’t see.

@daroke @RuaidhriOC I think he is trying to suggest several academies produce talent. But many of the clubs, England in particular struggle to retain players. Due to a salary cap and unable to pay increased wages reflective of their development. The URC / Ireland model don’t have to any salary cap.
