When it gets to this time of year there is so much colour about we're almost spoilt for choice. Just beware that the cold nights forecast for over the weekend could cause damage to tender bedding plants so be prepared to give them some protection, and that includes Dahlias.

Very cold today but so far we've escaped the snow. Early flowers are starting to show on our range of Saxifraga and Primulas, promising that Spring is on its way. These full 9cm pots of Primulas start at only £3.50 each.

What a difference a week makes... Dahlia update 19th January. Dahlia stock tubers are showing a lot more life this week. Still to early for taking cuttings and plenty time if you'd aren't set up yet.

Dahlia update January 13th. We're all set up and there are signs of life on the benches. As usual some varieties are slow starters whilst others are well away despite the heated benches having only been turned on 12 days ago.
