at halls of learning, we work on the fringes of the education system to provide services that are not usually accessible in on the school curriculum or that are available to global counterparts and we make them available nationally. we are not a school but we service schools.
it means we love children and we love helping them to learn and experience, new stuff, cool stuff, hard stuff, on repeat, like we have since 2003. it means sometimes we put in extra time, extra days, extra patience, extra energy and a lot of extra thought…not unlike teachers.
I am proud too! Particularly because this awesome achievement was powered by @hallsoflearning who started the first engineering lab at Mona Prep nearly a decade ago. Watch Johnathan and Shawn-Michael here: https://t.co/Ruq70q6bMQ
And then both Shawn-Michael and Johnathan were members of the @hallsoflearning advanced robotics club and participated at the FIRST Lego League competition in Boston, MA in 2019: https://t.co/xgQI6IG08Z
@fayvalwilliams@IamDanaDixon in the event the connections need to be re-energized or info to be shared to bring about greater synergies as I know we had previously engaged with @hallsoflearning !
We missed one! Teammember Duncan Stanley also came to the @hallsoflearning summer camp for four weeks in 2018, which sparked his interest in robotics according to his mom. 🤗
These are the fruits borne from the passion, dedication, hard work, and genius of @firstofhall and @hallsoflearning over the last 20 years. His vision for STEAM education in Jamaica is unprecedented and unparalleled.
