What an unforgettable moment last night, when your 2 favourite things collide - @thekillers stopping mid gig to watch the end of the @England game then straight into Mr Brightside 👏🏻⚽️🎶 and to experience it next to Sophie, she loved it 😀
Congratulations to our Under 18s who overcame Haringey 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out following a 3-3 draw in the semi-final of the JPL Warriors U18 Cup!

Congratulations to our Under 18s who moved into the semi-final of the JPL Cup after a penalty shoot-out success over Derby County. The game finished 1-1 in normal time before Imogen Hollwey saved two penalties to secure a 6-5 victory on spot-kicks.
We will face Haringey in the semi-finals later this month. A massive achievement for the girls, especially when you consider the team have been without our two top scorers for most of the campaign.

"Along with Will, my son, I carried Dad's coffin into the crematorium, the hardest thing I’ve ever done, as the Match of the Day theme blared out, jaunty and loud. The music was his decision, telling us shortly before he died that this was what he wanted.
"I’ll be in the BBC studios this weekend and I honestly can’t tell you how it will feel when that famous tune starts up, but I do know it will be tough, very tough. I’m heading into my first season without Dad beside me. It’s a void which can’t be filled and it still feels very raw.
"Why am I sharing this? In part, it’s because we don’t often consider the support network behind players and we should celebrate the dedication and sacrifice that makes every career possible. It feels important.
"And it’s because, in life, we occasionally leave words unspoken and this is my outlet.
"Our story is probably not too different to yours. For good or bad, we’re all a product of our parents and we carry them with us wherever we go. But without my dad here, part of me feels lost and untethered and I hope you can understand.
"Without wishing to be too maudlin, perhaps you might think of him when the Match of the Day theme sounds this weekend. I know I will."
