And if you think I’M in the wrong for expecting men I have spent countless hours supporting and spending money on over the years to AT LEAST apologize for behavior that goes against everything they’ve portrayed themselves to be and made women who thought they were different feel unsafe in the fandom, YOU are the problem. The continued silence makes it clear that the approval and acceptance of other men (vile, inexcusable ones at that) is more important to them than the feelings of the women whose support got them to this point in their careers.

Yeah, actually. Apologize for lending their credibility and platform to a rapist, abuser, misogynist, woman beating asshole and a zionist by attending their concert, being photographed with them, and honored to meet them, thereby damaging their own carefully constructed image as men who stand against misogyny and violence against women. Thereby also tearing down a safe space where many victims of DV and SA felt comfortable within the fandom and inviting violent and misogynistic rhetoric to be used against said victims by their fellow women. And yeah, I’d like them to apologize for the extended silence that has allowed their lack of empathy and forethought to bring hate to the other members, tear the fandom apart, and is now leading to the mass reporting an organization that helps victims of men like the ones they supported by attending their concert.
