@UragawaI@DeetheSphinx I think it is clear that you are not using AI in your artwork, as someone that has followed you for a long time, I have seen your art from before AI art was prevalent. Please don't be discouraged.
@Tcoren1@atrocityTCG If you want to stop hypercombo / FTKs, don't give us cards like Droll/C/Shifter. Give us designs like mulcharmies (step forward, still not perfect). (2/2)
@Tcoren1@atrocityTCG Still the same as Maxx C: loads of hypercombo decks lose to C. Does this reduce prevalence of hypercombo? Arguably so. Is it worth collateral damage? no. This is about total format health and I don't think the tradeoff is worth it. (1/2)
@atrocityTCG Survey a bunch of pros and I'm not sure that their answers to be "what's the best solution vs FTK" will be "can we get droll to 3". Print a droll like card, maybe, but straight up droll as it is now is not the best answer imo (2/2)
@atrocityTCG But we're arguing about game health here, right? That was what Judeu was originally talking about. Pros are always going to play filthy cards to win, I don't blame them for that, and I never argued that droll does nothing vs ftk. I just think it's an unfun answer (1/2)
@atrocityTCG Yes, and maybe the solution is continue giving feedback on social media that we don't like their silver bullet answers and would prefer for them to be banned? In addition to not playing in such terrible formats?
@atrocityTCG almost like the solution to FTKs is to not make them in the first place (or ban them out when you do) and not have to rely on silver bullets!
@atrocityTCG (2/2) And once we have "the out" as a pillar of the format, who's to say that they won't just make the next FTK play through it (see: combo decks playing through Nib, setting cards directly from deck to get around ash etc.)
@atrocityTCG (1/2) I considered your argument and dismissed it, for the following reason: reliance on drawing the "out" is not a good solution against FTKs, doubly so when the out (droll / C) has a lot of collateral damage on the format.
