ive seen South Asians maintain their cultural and Islamic identity without an issue, rarely ever see a desi neglecting their cultural practices to be seen more Muslim…
it sucks to see how in first world countries the arab diaspora gets to keep their culture along with religion and South Asian diaspora is forced to abandon all cultural practices to prove they're muslim enough
Kids genuinely do this when they feel safe and comfortable with someone. I get called “mum” by mistake all the time by children I look after. She takes care of her, so it’s just a completely normal little mistake and nothing to read too much into.
i really just think Khloe does this shit to SPITE Blac Chyna bc why is my daughter calling you mom and why doesn’t any of her other nieces call her Mom???
My little contribution to society is creating spaces where people around me don’t have to perform . They can simply come as they are and be vulnerable ...
One of the more intellectually lazy takes: apparently caring about your culture or country means you have no sense of identity. Culture and country are, quite obviously, significant indicators of identity. What someone identifies with has nothing to do with you.
