How does @AvantiWestCoast have any customers?
Train to Manchester yesterday ... two coaches short, all seats de-reserved, every carriage packed with standing passengers, aircon dripping from ceiling in two carriages, no running water.
Return to London today ... train 27 minutes late, three coaches aircon broken, no hot water for drinks.
Also: several toilets out of service and intermittent WiFi, but that's expected.
Miserable journey.

@theJeremyVine @AvantiWestCoast We had a similar issue on the 17:06, leaking carriage from the air con all over me, and down light switches. I was offered a plastic box, but didn't really feel like the solution I was hoping for

@mrcarterhistory @MsQuinnHistory I once was organising revision activities on medicine through time inviduals and assigned them and said "so you can take Vesalius, can you take Pasteur, can you take Koch". I was painfully mortified

@EldonPrincipal @McrAcademy No problem. There are a few other virtual experiences, but that is the big one I recommend. As others have said any work ex which matches the competencies required by a doctor also helps

@EldonPrincipal @McrAcademy Medic Mentor runs a great virtual work ex programme for medicine, a medic book club, a get into medicine conf (all free). Also with those grades reapplying this year with more experience (paid carer for example) gives him a good chance.
