as a Palestinian, if you don’t have the same energy for the UAE as you have for israel, i genuinely don’t want your selective “allyship”. you do not get to treat our Sudanese siblings suffering the worst humanitarian crisis as merely a footnote in your “solidarity”.
We are joining Macklemore in donating to the people of Palestine with another $10,000 to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, which will help aid families amid the ongoing genocide.
We encourage our followers & anyone with the means to join if they can: https://t.co/XXt2rHaCvl
In the United States of America, billionaire stadium owners should not be able to silence artists because they speak out on political issues.
Today it is the genocide in Gaza. What's next?
If they can silence one artist, they can silence anyone.
If you only stand for Palestine but you don’t stand up for Sudan, Congo, and all other African countries that are also going through genocides…it tells me all that I need to know about you.
I don't care what anyone says brilliance is sexy. Intelligence is sexy. Maturity is sexy. Having a mentally stimulating conversation is sexy.
Having a great body is good, being fit is great, health is important. Charm is nice. But intelligence, my God, intelligence is absolutely sexy.
I hope Congo & Sudan can receive the same visibility as Palestine in the future. and if anybody has any links to donate, spread awareness etc. please link them below, for all 3 travesties.
Intelligent people don't seek validation. They don’t have that "need" to prove anything. And when you’re around them, you can feel it too. The confidence. The security they have. You feel calm just by being in their presence. You feel more like yourself. They ask deep questions no one asks. They notice small things. They make you feel special. Just pure calm simplicity. That's intelligence. Not looks, clothes, money, status. All that is surface. It's performative. Real intelligence is quiet. No show off. No exaggerations. Intelligent people make you feel understood, not impressed.
Before therapy-speak started to dominate public discourse, we used evocative language like chilled to the marrow, cut to the quick, scarred, haunted, disturbed. Language is now sanitized and mass-marketed, and it’s making us dumber, less able to contextualize human experience.
