One year ago, the U.S. Senate took up an amendment that would have compelled the DOJ to release the Epstein Files.
These Senators voted to BLOCK releasing the files and are up for re-election this year:
Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
Ashley Moody (R-FL)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Jon Husted (R-OH)
🚨 BREAKING:
Lutnick: "It's disgraceful that Canada refuses to put American spirits on its shelves. It's insulting and disrespectful to America."
Shaheen: "They won't do it because of the insults from this president and comments like yours."
@HardejJoanna@ImtiazMadmood@MClaudeHawkes It’s a true testament to human resilience that your parents thrived after so much trauma. I hope they have written all these memories down for future generations of your family.
@MeghanMcCain God you’re fucking exhausting. Apparently your lack of critical thinking skills makes you a terrible candidate for office, a terrible TV host and terrible podcaster. Just shut up about things you know nothing about Meghan
Drake Maye and Ann Michael Maye star in a new social media video for LL Bean.
Funniest commercial involving a #Patriots player since Tom Brady screamed at that guy inside a Dick’s Sporting Goods.
🚨The Trump Administration said ICE is finding abused, unaccompanied migrant children… but this is what they are doing once they find them…
They’re deporting them to countries where they have no family.
This week in Chicago, 10 children… ages 12 to 17… appeared in immigration court alone. All had been deemed abandoned by state courts.
Six were ordered deported, one child was just 12 years old.
His attorney told the judge he had NO caregivers waiting for him in El Salvador.
Moments later, the judge ordered him to be deported there.
These children aren’t terrorists.
They aren’t violent criminals.
They are children. Some seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status… a federal protection specifically designed for kids who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.
And instead of protecting them, this administration is accelerating their deportation.
That means sending vulnerable children back to places where they may have no safe home, no caregiver, and no protection… leaving them homeless, and at risk of exploitation, trafficking, abuse, or even death.
There are roughly 20,000 unaccompanied immigrant children currently navigating the U.S. legal system, including about 1,000 in the Chicago area.
So, when this administration tells you it’s doing all of this to “protect children,” remember what they are actually doing…
They are finding vulnerable children, and then deporting them back into the very dangers that they were fleeing from to begin with.
This morning in Danbury, ICE was arresting parents at school bus stops.
But it’s more sinister. ICE waited until the kids were on the bus so when they are dropped off at the end of the day, they are alone, scared to death they can’t find their parents.
I’m heading to Danbury.
An ICE agent scanned the wrong license plate, chased the wrong man, and ended up shooting Julio Sosa-Celis through his own front door. DHS’s first story: Sosa-Celis attacked agents with a broom and snow shovel. City surveillance video proved that was false — the whole struggle lasted about 12 seconds. DHS admitted its agents gave “untruthful” sworn testimony. Charges against Sosa-Celis were dropped with prejudice.
The agent, Christian Castro, is now charged with 4 counts of assault + falsely reporting a crime. He fled to Texas.
Greg Abbott is refusing to extradite him. Minnesota’s AG just sued Abbott to force it.
A Republican governor is actively shielding a federal agent from facing trial for shooting an innocent man and lying about it under oath.
Texas, you have a job to do in November. And then justice can finally be delivered.
WELKER: Susan Collins says Trump's Canada tariffs will increase costs on American families. Is she right?
TIM SCOTT: Let's look back at Joe Biden--
WELKER: Wait. President Trump has been in office for two years. Inflation was at 3% when Biden left office. It's at 3.4% right now.
SCOTT: Joe Biden ...
WELKER: The Biden administration is over!
@crankyboricua So we believe the woman who had sex with Jax Taylor while she was supposed to be caring for a hospice patient? I mean she doesn’t like a reliable source. If it’s true why didn’t Bravo fire Lala when they fired Jax Britt Kristen and Stassi?
ICE drag mom & teen daughter out of hospital room—in middle of being treated after car accident.
Agents violently detain mom—still wearing hospital gown.
Separate her from daughter—family never told where mom was taken to.
Both were victims of being hit by car—with asylum case pending in good standing & valid work permit.
Grace Calero, 39, and her daughter Giulianna Carriel, 19, are both originally from Ecuador.
Both women received severe injuries after a near fatal rollover crash when another car swerved into their lane head on.
Made worse when the daughter suffered a seizure—after the trauma of seeing her mother violently handcuffed.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office contacted ICE after deciding the women's paperwork looked suspicious.
They have an ongoing formal cooperation agreement with ICE.
Incident occurred at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida.

@Parentoid Jax wants Cruz in a public preschool because it’s free. Britt is paying for Cruz to go to private school and for all his therapists out of pocket. Jax is an abusive liar. Everyone should be able to see that. Britt has to work to support that child. Jax is a liar 🤥
@ClaudetteGGibs1 I no longer work inpatient. I can’t count the number of times I walked into dry IV lines, infiltrated IVs, stopped Heparin gtt due to battery dying in pump. It’s just not worth my license. Ambulatory surgery is a much better place practice.
@JFanduch@OnlyInBOS I think most reasonable people will support the side that feeds children. Starving people because they’re less fortunate seems barbaric.
🚨 The Nurse ICE kidnapped at Boston's Logan Airport is free — released one day after more than 100 nurses and supporters rallied outside her hospital demanding it.
Debora Kapisha is 28, a first-year medical-surgical nurse at Maine Medical Center in Portland, and an asylum seeker from Zambia. ICE agents took her into custody on July 30 as she traveled through Logan. She spent a week locked up.
She is legally authorized to live and work in the United States while her asylum case is processed. An email from MaineHealth said her work authorization runs until 2030.
ICE called her "an illegal alien" who overstayed a visa that expired in November 2024, and said "any pending application does not confer legal status." The same statement pushed her toward self-deporting, offering $2,600 and a free flight out.
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree, who announced the release, pointed out what that framing leaves out. "It can take 10 YEARS or more for some asylum cases to be adjudicated," she wrote. "Also, you can't renew a non-immigrant visa while your asylum is pending!"
ICE was preparing to move Kapisha out of Massachusetts to a detention facility in Louisiana, far from her attorneys and everyone she knows. The Maine State Nurses Association put a press conference and rally together in under 24 hours. The transfer was called off.
Her coworkers wrote her more than 100 letters while she was inside. "She's the kind of person who notices when someone is struggling and steps in to help without hesitation," said Abbey Nelson, a nurse who works with her.
