Lovely touch, when someone deletes tweets rather than having the actual balls to say "I'm so, so sorry for fucking up your life". Just proves how they clearly only live in fantasyland. Shame the rest of us have to deal with the fallout in the real world.
@ChristaLaser I'm so sorry. Do whatever you need to to get through this. I have friends who shared their baby's name with people - whenever they hear their baby's name spoken, it brings them comfort and reassurance that their baby left an indelible mark on this earth that can never be erased.
@scriptwren Make list of symptoms- take to GP, Ask for referral - depending on wait times in your area, can go via right to choose to a place like Psychiatry UK.
@scriptwren It's never too late to explore a diagnosis for yourself. I'm a lot kinder to myself as a result - more forgiving, more nurturing. I used to have terrible depression every 2 years. signed off work, ADs, the works. Since being medicated for my ADHD, I now recognise this as burnout.
@scriptwren I achieved 10 GCSEs - 6 of them A or A*. I got 3 A-Levels - one of them an A. I achieved a 2:1 in an academic subject from a 'red brick' university. All with only being in charge of 50% of my brains. I wonder what could have been if I'd had accommodations made for my ADHD. 4/
@scriptwren If you choose to try meds, it's not a permanent change. If you don't like it, you can stop taking them, and be as you were. I'm a better version of myself when I'm taking them. Not as prone to burnout and depression (since being on meds I've not needed ADs every 2 yrs). 3/
@DigitalJonathan Look, don't ruin the dream. The Chardonnays in my town tell their little girls that she is proof that anyone born in the Royal Berks Hospital can become a pwincess, babes. π€£

@BP_Bryony Yep. I genuinely lost mine too as I had an accident at work (most recent time), and no idea where the bloody thing whilst I was dealing with having a fractured eye socket and open nasal fracture.
@SuzanneHeywood So much of my childhood felt similar but on an extremely minor scale - I wanted to do horses, but Dad diligently drove me through the New Forest most weekends so I could learn to sail (only racing dinghies, thankfully). I've not sailed in several decades, but now own 3 horses. π
Been listening to @SuzanneHeywood's audiobook on @audibleuk - Wavewalker - Breaking Free. At many points I was yelling at the car stereo in disbelief at some of the decisions adults made. Incredible story, and literally the stuff of my nightmares. So glad she was able to tell it.
The highlight at the end of today for all of the team, was being visited by Julia Waters (Ruth Perry's sister) and daughter.
This is our WHY.
We can't forget why we are fighting this fight.
