Türkiye has already demonstrated its ability to build globally competitive companies. As investors, we increasingly see strong opportunities emerging across the ecosystem, particularly in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, defense technologies.

The fundamentals are in place: world-class engineering talent, ambitious founders and a unique bridge between Europe, MENA, and Asia.

The next chapter depends on attracting more global attention and international capital to the ecosystem.

Girişimcilik ekosisteminin farklı paydaşlarını bir araya getirdiğimiz 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗨𝗽 𝘅 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗼 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 ile, bu yıl ikinci kez gerçekleşen GEV Gelecek Zirvesi kapsamında güçlü bir buluşmaya imza attık.

Program, Gedik Yatırım Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı ve CEO’su Onur Topac’ın keynote konuşmasıyla başladı. Yapay zekanın tarihin en hızlı büyüme döngülerinden birini yarattığını, artık geleceğin değil bugünün iş yapış biçimlerini dönüştüren bir gerçeklik olduğunu ve Türkiye’nin bu dönüşümde önemli fırsat alanlarına sahip olduğunu vurgulayan konuşmada; AI çağında girişimcilik, dönüşüm ve Türkiye’nin potansiyeli ele alındı.

Programın devamında, @startups_watch .watch iş birliğinde gerçekleşen 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘅 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 oturumunda, gelecek vadeden girişimleri yatırımcılarla bir araya getirerek yeni bağlantılara ve potansiyel iş birliklerine alan açtık.

Ardından ise ekosistemin bugününü ve yarınını farklı açılardan ele aldığımız iki panel gerçekleştirdik.

Yerel ve global yatırımcı perspektiflerindeki değişim, smart money kavramının yeni anlamı, fonlar perspektifinden yatırım kriterleri ve AI sonrası dönemde öne çıkması beklenen trendler öne çıkan başlıklar arasında yer aldı.

🌍 Moderatörlüğünü Dicle Özcan’ın üstlendiği 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗶𝘆𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 panelinde ise Kadir Demircioglu, Ahmet Tosun ve Murat Hacioglu ile Türkiye’den globale uzanan büyüme yolculuğunun hikayesinden çok işin pratiğine odaklandık. Doğru pazar seçimi, doğru GTM stratejisi, ilk yurtdışı müşterisinin şirketler üzerindeki etkisi ve globalleşme yolculuğunda keşke daha erken bilinseydi denilen öğrenimleri masaya yatırdık.

We recently hosted the fourth @CvcBosphorus Roundtable, an initiative of the @gktrorg, bringing together leading CVCs to exchange perspectives on early-stage investing.

Under the theme “𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲” the discussion centered on how investment decisions are shaped when data is limited and uncertainty is high. At this stage, founder quality and team dynamics become the primary drivers of conviction. Equally important is the ability to surface, frame and assess risk early on and to understand whether the team has the capability to navigate it.

Our General Manager, @haluk_nisli, shared Inveo Ventures’ approach to early-stage due diligence, emphasizing that it is not only about validating existing signals, but also about building a clear view on execution risk, resilience and long-term potential.

I had the pleasure of joining the Startup Financing & Investment course at MEF University as a guest lecturer.

It was truly inspiring to engage with students who are already showing a strong interest in entrepreneurship. We had a productive discussion on entrepreneurship, startup financing and investment dynamics within the ecosystem.

Inveo Yatırım Holding çatısı altında, girişim sermayesi yatırımlarımızı @InveoVentures ile sürdürüyoruz. 2025 yılı, bu yapı açısından önemli bir dönüm noktası oldu. Bugüne kadar grubumuzun kendi sermayesiyle inşa ettiğimiz bu yapıya grup dışı bireysel ve kurumsal yatırımcıların dahil edilmesi için Inveo Ventures GSYF’nin kuruluş süreci tamamlanarak, fon yatırımcıya açıldı.

Inveo Ventures’ın portföy büyüklüğü 20 milyon ABD dolarını aşarken, doğrudan ve dolaylı olarak 100’ün üzerinde girişime erişim sağlayan bir yatırım ağına ulaştık. Bu sene portföyümüz, yeni yatırımların yanı sıra gerçekleşen bir çıkışla birlikte gelişimini sürdürdü. Bu kapsamda portföyümüze de 1 fon yatırımı dahil toplam 7 yatırımı dahil ederken, doğrudan yatırım sayımız 24’e ulaştı. Bu dönemde Revo Capital Fund III'e yapılan yatırım da portföy yapımızın bir parçası olarak hayata geçti.

2023 yılından bu yana düzenli olarak gerçekleştirdiğimiz Bridgevent etkinliğimizi, her sene olduğu gibi 2025 yılında da büyüterek hayata geçirdik. 200’ün üzerinde girişimci, yatırımcı ve ekosistem paydaşını bir araya getirdiğimiz Bridgevent, Inveo Ventures’ın girişimcilik ekosistemiyle kurduğu uzun soluklu ilişkinin önemli bir parçası olmaya devam etti.

Yıl boyunca ekosistemin farklı temas noktalarında aktif rol aldık. Slush’d İstanbul ve Take Off İstanbul’da VC Partner olarak yer alırken, Web Summit Katar, Slush Helsinki ve VivaTech Paris gibi önemli küresel etkinliklerde de Inveo Ventures’ı aktif şekilde temsil ettik.

Back in Doha for Web Summit Qatar — and once again, it was a great experience. It was great to see once again how welcoming the city and the people are. What stood out even more this year was how much the ecosystem has evolved in just one year. The pace of development, openness to collaboration and the scale of opportunities make Doha a place to watch closely.

Throughout the event and its side events, it was a pleasure to reconnect and meet with friends from the ecosystem, as well as engage with startups, investors and key stakeholders. The conversations, energy and openness to collaboration made the week truly worthwhile.

I was at the BV AI Summit organized by Boğaziçi Ventures!

Together, we explored all aspects of AI — from how it is transforming startups, corporations, and investors, to its well-known applications and lesser-known mysteries.

In the panel titled "𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 Türkiye?" moderated by Gizem Sezer, we had an engaging discussion with esteemed panelists Shum Singh and Can Bakır. We talked about Türkiye's talent pool, how it is evolving into meaningful investment opportunities for foreign investors through AI, and the constructive role we VCs play in this transformation.

We set out a vision for Inveo Ventures to become the most active corporate venture capital firm in the region. In line with this vision, we were in Baku last week to connect with new LPs for our fund, create value for our portfolio companies, and explore new strategic partnerships.

As part of the 𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦, I had the pleasure of joining the panel on "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘗 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 – 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴", alongside esteemed panelists. I shared how we are transforming the knowledge and strength of our corporate background into investments in new and disruptive technologies.

It was truly exciting to meet some of the region’s emerging companies at the INMerge Innovation Summit in the following days and to gain valuable insights from the panels and speakers.

At Inveo Ventures, one question often comes up in conversations with founders and investors: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦-𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘝𝘊 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦-𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘦𝘵?

For us, the answer is simple. It’s about building a bridge between the “C” and the “VC.” The corporate side provides long-term vision, depth, and access. The venture side brings speed, conviction, and a founder-first mindset. Together, they create what we call our 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 — a balance that connects institutional discipline with entrepreneurial curiosity.

This mindset was on full display during Istanbul Slush'D, where our team actively engaged with founders, investors, and global funds across every part of the event as the 𝐕𝐂 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫.

I was also glad to join the panel “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘥𝘨𝘦: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘊𝘝𝘊𝘴 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘛ü𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘺𝘦” alongside Fezal Okur Eskil (Yıldız Holding) and Atilla Ucur (Sabancı Ventures), where we explored how corporate venture capital can become a true enabler of strategic partnerships between startups and large corporations.

As the first-ever Slush’D held in Istanbul, the event brought together global investors and ecosystem leaders, once again showing how Türkiye’s venture landscape is gaining momentum and visibility on the global stage. It was also great to see several of our portfolio founders sharing their stories and connecting with new partners.

Geçtiğimiz Hafta, Paris’te düzenlenen Avrupa’nın en büyük teknoloji etkinliklerinden biri olan Vivatech 2025’i, @InveoVentures Genel Müdürümüz @haluk_nisli ile birlikte ziyaret ettik.

Paris - once again a wonderful start to summer, and once again, it’s us!

At @VivaTech, one of Europe’s largest startup and technology events, @InveoVentures proudly took its place for the second time alongside our Chairperson of the Board, @onurtopac90.

With rapid advancements in technology, AI becoming an ordinary part of our lives, robot colleagues, and autonomous vehicles… There couldn’t be a more unifying force than technology for participants coming from all around the world!

• It’s a great honor to see our country and entrepreneurship ecosystem gaining an increasing share in such a major event every year. Led by the @TCSanayi, the @turcorn100 startups and the @InvestTurkey pavilion once again opened the door for Turkish entrepreneurs to the world.

• The most impressive panel was undoubtedly the one featuring President of France @EmmanuelMacron, @nvidia Founder and CEO Jensen Huang and @MistralAI Co-founder and CEO @arthurmensch, moderated by @PublicisGroupe Emeritus Chairman Maurice Lévy. They emphasized the importance of national support for technology companies and highlighted the significant investments countries like France will make in AI going forward.

• The positioning of @NVIDIAGTC Paris made VivaTech even more special this year. NVIDIA, with its entire team and partners, demonstrated the true meaning of the “technology ecosystem” to the world. We were proud once again to be members of the NVIDIA VC Alliance program and enjoyed spending time with NVIDIA Inception startups.

• Knowing that interaction among entrepreneurs is one of the key elements in writing success stories, we visited @joinstationf. Station F is a prime example and attraction point of how entrepreneurs and organizations can create synergy by coming together in one place - an example worth emulating.

• One of the most valuable parts of global events like this is adding new collaborations to the PERKS package we prepare for our portfolio companies. From cloud credits to development tools, digital marketing support to HR management - opening pathways for cooperation between large companies that once walked the paths of our portfolio startups and our ventures remains one of our most important goals.

As Inveo Ventures, we will continue to build a value bridge for entrepreneurs from local to global! 🚀
