The social isolation most of us experienced in 2020 was absolutely necessary, but there's no denying that it had real psychological effects, including the fact that no one knows how to behave in public anymore.
Social media/technology in general is (theoretically) great at connecting us to the people who we are not with.
But it is straight up destroying our ability to connect and empathize and engage with the world around us.
this is another article I came across in my mini research journey. basically, the BEST CASE SCENARIO when you flush is that they ultimately make it to a landfill. skip the middleman (that may not even catch it anyway) and just throw them away. https://t.co/4cq2q3Tx1H
as someone who considers themselves a friend to the environment, I feel like I have been DEEPLY uneducated in this arena. this article was incredibly illuminating. https://t.co/SJPhlAf9d6
Side characters on the "The Ultimatum: Queer Love" Power Ranking:
1. Tiff's butch friend
2. Lexi's dad
3. Sam's friend with the lesbian tattoo
4. Aussie's ally brother
5. Vanessa's dad with weird vibes
Finding out that all the "ultimatum queer love" couples broke up except for Sam and Aussie confirms my theory that they all needed to break up from the beginning.
The only one courageous to do it in time was Xander.
