Very excited for the release of this new book of music for Evensong - all the music is new and commissioned - some very exciting canticles and responses - even the chants aren’t bad! A great companion to the RSCM “Come and Sing” book which has been very successful.
Lovely new Oxford bookshop, Barker & Co, opened today in Golden Cross Yard. Highly suitable, since this ancient innyard may well be where Shakespeare staged a very early showing of ‘Hamlet’ at some point before 1603. He’s thought to have played the Ghost himself. Right here….
