I have come to Brussels today to bring your message and your demands directly to Europe’s leaders, lawmakers, and public, the voice of a nation that has stood courageously and steadfastly against the Islamic Republic’s repression and violence, and has refused to surrender to this criminal regime.

In its latest disinformation campaign, the Islamic Republic attempted to prevent you from joining the “Barkhiz Iran” Telegram bot by spreading false information. That effort also failed. Within a short time of its launch, we received hundreds of thousands of messages through the bot from across the country, from students, teachers, and doctors to workers, soldiers, police officers, and people from every walk of life.

We launched this initiative to establish direct, two-way communication with you. The extraordinary response carries a clear message: the will of the Iranian nation cannot be broken.

Our nation, in all its diversity, seeks liberation from the Islamic Republic, and is fighting and making sacrifices to achieve it. The Iranian people do not fear this regime. On the contrary, it is the Islamic Republic that fears the power of a united Iranian nation. It is the regime’s missing leader who is hiding from the people, too afraid even to make his voice heard.

You, my proud compatriots, have once again demonstrated that, contrary to the regime’s propaganda, you are neither exhausted nor hopeless. Your belief in victory is stronger than ever.

I am proud of your courage, resilience, and loyalty to Iran. During the most difficult days, you have remained faithful to your pledge to our homeland. I, too, remain faithful to my pledge to you: to secure Iran’s freedom and restore its pride.

Once again, I call on every compatriot who believes in overthrowing the Islamic Republic and building a free and prosperous future to join the National Cooperation Campaign to Save Iran.

به بروکسل آمده‌ام تا پیام و خواست شما را به گوش رهبران، قانون‌گذاران و افکار عمومی اروپا برسانم، صدای ملتی که شجاعانه و استوار در برابر سرکوب و خشونت جمهوری اسلامی ایستاده و تسلیم این رژیم جنایتکار نشده است.

جمهوری اسلامی در تازه‌ترین کارزار دروغ‌پراکنی خود تلاش کرد با انتشار اطلاعات نادرست، مانع پیوستن شما به بات تلگرامی «برخیز ایران» شود. اما این تلاش نیز شکست خورد. در مدت کوتاهی پس از معرفی، از طریق این بات، صدها هزار پیام از سراسر کشور دریافت کرده‌ایم؛ از دانشجویان، معلمان و پزشکان تا کارگران، سربازان، نیروهای پلیس و دیگر اقشار جامعه.

ما این کارزار را برای ایجاد ارتباط مستقیم و دو سویه با شما راه‌اندازی کردیم و استقبال گسترده از آن، پیامی روشن دارد: اراده ملت ایران شکست‌ناپذیر است.

ملت ما، با همه تنوع و گوناگونی‌اش، خواهان رهایی از جمهوری اسلامی است و برای آن مبارزه می‌کند و هزینه می‌دهد. این ملت از رژیم هراسی ندارد، برعکس، این جمهوری اسلامی است که از قدرت ملت متحد ایران می‌ترسد. این رهبر مفقود رژیم است که از ترس مردم پنهان شده و حتی جرات ندارد صدایی از خود منتشر کند.     

شما، هم‌میهنان سرافراز من، بار دیگر ثابت کردید که برخلاف تبلیغات رژیم، نه‌تنها خسته و ناامید نشده‌اید، بلکه باورتان به پیروزی، از همیشه استوارتر است.

Please allow me to present a different perspective.

The problem was not the Iran War. It was the cease fire.

If you start a war, you need to win it and finish it – otherwise don’t start it.

This war should have been over six months ago, with the Strait of Hormuz wide open and oil flowing. The second and third tiers of Iranian leadership should have been destroyed, and we should have supported the pro-western forces who could have taken leadership. We stood on the brink of a new, more peaceful Middle East - and then we blinked. We had a chance not only to deny Iran nuclear weapons, but to get rid of the world’s biggest supporter of terrorism.

Instead, we had a cease fire, which was followed by months of will we or won’t we finish the job. Every day was a different message. There still is. Is the war over? Is it about to begin? No one knows. There is confusion and inconsistency.

In June 2025, America was not involved. This was an Israel vs Iran issue.

No one forced the United States to attack Iran then, or in February of 2026. It was a decision made by President Trump. In my opinion, it was the right decision.

Once the decision was made, we should not have stopped until the regime fell. But instead, you negotiated a cease fire that didn’t last, didn’t work and left us in no man’s land, with higher prices and our troops still deployed.

Our troops could have been home, the Navy returned to its bases, a peaceful regime in place , new alliances forged, and gas prices below $3.00 a gallon.

No, Mr. Vice President. It’s not the war. It’s the so-called cease fire.

as the representative of the transition to a free, secular, and democratic Iran.

with a quote from Mr. Reza Pahlavi, a quote that we all embrace:
"I will not rest until Iran has a
national, democratic, and elected government of the Iranian people.""

What happens in Iran does not stop at its borders. It matters to all of Europe.

Today at the European Parliament, Iranian opposition leader @PahlaviReza and EPP Group Vice-Chair @fxbellamy MEP held a press briefing. They were joined by family members of victims of the January massacres. Discussions focused on the threat posed by the Iranian regime to Europe and the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.

As MEP @fxbellamy stressed:
“The fall of the mullahs’ regime would be a liberation for the Iranian people and a major turning point for Europe’s security and freedom. The destinies of Iran and Europe are intertwined.”

The future of Iran matters, and Europe cannot look away.
