A Parliamentary Standing Committee led by Rajya Sabha MP @BrijLal_IPS has urged UPSC to revisit the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) in the prelims, highlighting that its heavy focus on quantitative & analytical skills may disadvantage non‑science, rural, and underserved aspirants.

Introduced in 2011, CSAT was meant to test logical reasoning & aptitude alongside General Studies.
