Hello world! Router team here, we're very excited to share product announcements, model releases and routing strategies with you all going forward.
Join us today to access models through one API, route requests, set fallbacks, and track usage and cost. https://t.co/RitfClHDat
we are looking for a Design Systems Lead to take @tryramp's DS to the next-level
ping me if you think you are the right mix of an idealist, pragmatist, ai maximalist, driven, excited about the future, and understand the tradeoffs of what it takes for Eng x Design to excel
If you’re interested in learning more about how to bring Ramp’s success with Inspect to your company, shoot me, @nzgb , or @hamidships a DM. We love to yap.
Inspect turns one today! 🎉
Every company has that one person who knows everything, but you can never get their time because everyone else needs them too. You immediately thought of a specific person and how valuable they are.
Inspect is just that, but with unlimited bandwidth and always at your fingertips.
With over 3 million sessions in the past year and >1400 weekly active users, we get to experience so many fun and unique challenges. We’ve seen everything with harnesses, models, storage, compute, tools, networks, and builders’ workflows. We toil over milliseconds of optimizations and create magical experiences so others don’t have to.
At @tryramp, other teams have been able to build entire startups on top of Inspect. We get to consolidate the entire stack in to a single product across triaging, coding, code review, and project management.
Our in house review agents have reviewed hundreds of thousands of PRs. Static analysis checks that the code is good, and video proof lets humans visually validate it.
Every incident is triaged with a custom Inspect agent that aggregates data from a dozen+ sources, provides RCA, and can have PRs ready to merge before a person even responds to it.
Our post-deploy agent generates hypotheses about changes, then monitors metrics and logs when the PRs roll out. It provides statistical proof of positive results or negative regressions and can automatically mitigate production issues.
The Ramp Research and customer support agents lets people safely query the data they need, act on user feedback, and help everybody win.
It’s been a pleasure to be along for this ride, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.
Ramp moves as fast as we do because of two tools we built for ourselves. @geoffintech talks about both in this talk:
Inspect for engineering: https://t.co/T745YePVAR
Glass for knowledge work: https://t.co/9lnh7oSInn
Coding is getting cheap. Shipping great products isn’t.
AI keeps shifting the bottleneck, and your job is to identify and remove it - scattered customer signals, slow decisions, unused specs, long PR reviews, manual QA, coordination overhead, and fragmented launches.
I break down how we've done this at Ramp across the entire software development lifecycle - https://t.co/1jowBNGAXr
thanks @lennysan for a great conference
hope you enjoy, copy, and extend further!
We know how to win at Ramp, and just like that we nailed another part of software factory for a takeoff
~50 percent output increase per engineer 🚀
If you want to learn more and do the same at your company, send me a note.
Ramp helps you spend less. Now, we’re helping you get paid faster.
Today we’re launching @tryramp Accounts Receivable!
It’s been our #1 customer request. 100+ businesses are already using it and the early reactions are extraordinary.
I think you’re going to love it.
the best engineering leaders I know still build themselves.
Inspect lets me see a problem, dig into it, make a change, test it in a real environment, and ship a fix quickly. staying close to the work makes you a better partner to the people doing it every day.
leading large teams means a lot of my job is helping other people do their best work. but I am a builder at heart, and I never want managing to create distance from the product, the code, or the problems our customers are feeling.
we built Inspect with the context, tools, and guardrails to let agents handle more of the routine loop, and keep our engineers focused on the critical judgment calls.
thanks to @Pragmatic_Eng for the deep dive on how we build at @tryramp.
