This is why people laugh at SF politics and by association, Democrats. We’re an international laughing stock (when we’re not a cautionary tale). @myrnamelgarsf is too dishonest and lazy to say why she really supports that nut-job as police commissioner. So she resorts to this.
Myrna Melgar displays her true far left leanings and brings up that MCO hasn’t “done anything wrong” which has absolutely nothing to do with whether he stays or go. Learn the LAW Myrna. You barely kept your seat (too bad you did). https://t.co/I1Xuz7lwEn
Please work with your team to set up emergency evacuation plans on the Westside BEFORE you allow the great highway to close permanently in cars. You have seen what is going on in LA - we need our escape routes and the great highway is a main artery for us.
At a minimum; our water systems need to be upgraded and we need our siren system fixed. Show us that traffic mitigation can work BEFORE the highway is closed. 19th Avenue has two lanes closed right now and the great highway is closed. Look at the traffic - even at 9pm on Friday night on 19th avenue. We CANNOT live in gridlock.
If you want us to frequent businesses, if you want people to come in from outside of the city to spend money, closing our roads (especially a major artery is NOT helpful.
The mayor of San Jose gets it. RVs will no longer be allowed to park for months on end, dumping their waste into storm drains. While some people may think this cruel, services are being offered in advance. Otherwise, you gotta move it or lose it. 🤷
Strong choice for Board of Supervisors president — @RafaelMandelman “gets it” on the city’s most pressing issues. (Thank goodness it wasn’t “urbanist” waffler Myrna Melgar who owes Todd David big time.)

@Twolfrecovery@RafaelMandelman This IS excellent news! Today feels like a new beginning for our city.
Hope we see steady progress in getting our streets cleaned up and in our city getting back on track.
I met this young gentleman at Union Square he said he changed his life in his drug addiction by getting incarcerated but listen to his perspective on Harm Reduction
@LJSimonin@MHurabiell@QuirkyQuokkaHub@kavehcyrus@EricaJSandberg@sfchronicle Agreed.
Same with SF judges’ races. We lost an opportunity to get 2 judges who’ve let too many repeat offenders back out to our streets off the bench last March. The average voter has no clue who to vote for, nor how much Superior Court judges’ rulings affect our streets.
