🇵🇰 Pakistan to Become a Storage Hub for Oil from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar

Islamabad is developing a project for the commercial storage of oil from Arab countries on its territory, with subsequent shipment to global markets, according to Pakistani Minister of Oil, Ali Parvez Malik.

The oil will be stored in secure areas at the expense of the suppliers. Pakistan reserves the right to purchase the reserves in the event of a crisis. The project, developed in collaboration with Saudi Aramco, is being submitted to the Economic Coordination Committee for consideration.
