@AubreyNoronha Thank you for presenting at Dalewood Middle School in Hamilton today. I wasn't there, but my daughter was. It sounds like a very inspiring message for the kids.
This is government overreach. If a municipality wants to remove a lane of traffic to be able to provide a protected lane for cyclists, it should be able to. https://t.co/H9yA7DWVDL
@sophiaharrisCBC the baggage problem on planes is only exacerbated by selfish passengers that instead of putting their second bag underneath the seat in front of them choose to put it in the overheads as well.
@FP_Champagne What's the point?
You think criminals are going to waste their time with a flipper that can unlock 20 year old cars? No. They're going to buy the $2000 device that gets that less than 5 year old car unlocked in 20s or less.
They're also going to smuggle it across the border.
@StreetwallNY@TorontoStar And Marks & Spencer? They used to be in Canada, but they pulled out in the 80's. Love their products as I'm sure a lot of other people do as well.
@CameronKroetsch@fordnation We are not a Toronto suburb. Nor are we a redneck hinterland that the big wigs in Toronto should be treating like crap. We're a city unto its own, with our own priorities and needs.
@CameronKroetsch@fordnation We have plenty of sorely needed infill in Hamilton that should more than achieve the housing objective. Hamilton's has been rotting away for years because of the obsession to expand the urban boundary. Show Hamilton the love that it deserves, Dougie.
.@fordnation has revived plans to carve up the #Greenbelt for development. Weโre calling on Ford to keep his promise not to allow sprawl on these environmentally sensitive lands. https://t.co/u515qn8RIw #onpoli via @OntarioGreens
Well, they do. I don't know if they promote all council agendas and public delegation processes. The problem is that it's all buried in their website in a haphazard manner, completely unorganized. Case in point were the meetings for the new landlord registration.
@StephenKing 's got so many good books, it's hard to really settle on a good first book to read. My favorite macabre book of his (haven't read any recent books...within the last 20 or 30 years), was Pet Sematary, and my favorite fantasy was probably Gunslinger.
So sad to hear about this. Don't know the details about this, but I would think the separated bike lanes (with physical barriers) in Hamilton have helped prevent a lot of this.
A cyclist in Niagara is dead after falling off his bike and then being struck by an oncoming truck. @JGaidolaCHCH has the details.
